  1. Without doubt God’s provision for mankind, prepared even before Adam’s fall, was fully met with the Lord Jesus, God’s Son, who came to earth in human form, lived a perfect life then bore our sins as He went to the cross. What a triumph when He rose again on the third day, just as He said! Sin & death are defeated for all those who put their trust in Him. Now that is a God who is in full control. Praise His Name – forever!

  2. I am finding these articles very interesting. I am struggling with the fact that my son used to be a youth leader for years at the Weslyin Church and my x wife told me that he has given up his faith and no longer believes. I pray for Dustin that he regains his faith and realizes that Jesus is is real. Would U please pray for him.

    1. I am praying for Dustin. I also have a son, Erik, who has stepped far away. Faith tells me that these two young men will be great men of God!

  4. It’s such an amazing mystery that God’s majesty should find and save a wretch like me, and give me the opportunity to share in His glory. Mystery profound!

  5. I thank the Lord every day for what He did for me. I Matthew 6:33 myself every morning, seeking the Lord first in all I do. Praise His holy name!

    1. I am in a lot of pain at the moment. Just recently I had a hip replacement and the pain I am is unexpected. Every time I pray I than God for this pain because it is nothing compared to what Jesus went threw not just on the cross but the beatings and crown placed on his head.

        1. OMG, Jesus is amazing. I’m very thankful for the Lord, and is looking forward to, getting to know Him more each day. He has already brought me a mighty long way, He is working every day to make me a better person. Thank you Jesus for your love.

  6. I thank you for the insights in your book ‘the mockery and majesty of the cross.’ As I spoke my usual opening prayer, ‘God open my eyes to see and ears to hear and listen to the hidden truth of your word’ God did exactly that.

He revealed to me why darkness had come up the land during his son’s death on the cross. God is light and as you have put it He became a man through his son Jesus Christ. But he was still God with us. So at the time of his death on the cross when he took on all our sins his holiness had to be separated from his human form. It is his holiness that has light. The darkness coming upon the land is symbolic and factual that when the light of the world is removed darkness fills its place. This fact was another testimony to the reality and truth of ‘God with us’ that those in Jesus’ time failed to see. However, it is also a foreshadow of what is yet to come upon the earth when the Holy Spirit is removed or as the scriptures state when the ‘Restrainer’ is removed, darkness will fill the earth. We know this to be the rapture and when that occurs the lawless one or antichrist will be revealed.

  7. Thank you OUR Daily Bread for each time I read that days devotion it’s always apply to my circumstances right at that moment. I’m struggling with alcohol and tobacco use. I pray that By his stripes I am healed. Take it away from me LORD! I don’t want it. I don’t need it. I know Christ died for my sins and every time the thought to drink & smoke cigarettes comes. I feel It’s the habit of doing it for so long that I give in. To do it is normal to me. I feel that it’s not normal when I don’t.

  8. Our Lord and Savior said” I am the way, the life, and the truth “, he said it, and I believe it! Thank You Lord Jesus!! We love you So Much!
